The Petite Scallop is another historic tile design. The ogee geometric shape was a common characteristic of European Gothic style but first appeared in the Middle East. It is a very flexible shape and has the ability to tessellate in four different variations. Create a sophisticated atmosphere with this brilliant concept for your luxurious backsplash or bath wall design.
This tile shape is also known as Moroccan Fish Scale, mermaid, or fan tile. You can combine (4) of these to tessellate an Arabesque or wave pattern on your wall. This tile creates a whimsical tessellation that will bring depth and character to your tile design dream.
We include (28) individual tiles included per square foot. For samples, each tile is $6.58 plus $16 Sample Pack base fee. Please message for help ordering samples.
Assorted, unique glaze hues are available. Please visit our Glaze Palette page for in stock options or we can color match, custom order any color you desire.
We offer layout services, on front mount tile tape for $5 per tile.

Shipping is $20 per square foot on all field tile. We hand pack and ship all tile USPS Priority, unless you request otherwise.

The tile is about a 1/2" thick. Nominal 4x4 inches with an 3/16 inch grout line you will need (9) tiles to cover a square foot area. The tile is priced per square foot.
Samples start at $16 base fee, then you add per tile cost:
(1) color are $12 each;
(2) are $14 each;
(3) are $16 each tile.
Shipping is $25 per SQFT additional fee and Michigan tax, when applicable.

Visit product page →Our Thin Rhomb authentically hand-pressed ceramic tile is waiting, just for your next home design dream.
In the early 1970’s, Roger Penrose discovered that a surface can be completely tiled in an asymmetrical, non-repeating manner in five-fold symmetry with two shapes based on phi, the Golden Ratio.
Each Thin Rhomb is nominal 3x9x1/2 inch and you will need approximately (8) tiles per square foot. Recommend 3/16” grout space. If you choose a smaller space or no space, you will require more tiles. Please message with inquiries.
Our Thin Rhomb flies solo as a grand harlequin pattern or works in tandem with our Thick Rhomb to create the fabulous Penrose Tiling tessellation.
