The Three Iris art tile is Art Nouveau inspired, from the cover of a book titled “Beautiful Flowers”.  

It was designed  to coordinate with our Iris Triptych tile series.

This beauty is larger than our other art tiles, a stunning 6x6x1/2 inch tile, that’ll look amazing on a fireplace, backsplash, or bathroom design.

This tile was originally created wearing Red Gloss, Bottle Green, White Satin, and Snow glaze hues. We can customize the glaze palette to accommodate your design.

My Trapezium tile will create that custom backsplash or shower that is perfect for your new construction or home remodel project that you've been dreaming of.

Each Trapezium tile is nominal 3x5 inches and you will need (10) tile come per square foot. I recommend a 1/8-3/16 inch grout space.

I do not keep any tile stock, all tile is made to order.

Welcome spring with our rendition of this beautiful ephemeral wildflower. There’s a substantial colony that blankets our backyard, right outside of the tile art studio window. 

Trout Lily grows in rich organic soils of Maple-Beech forests throughout Michigan and has an interesting life history. Research has suggested the average age of a trout lily colony can be up to 150 years old, and potentially over 1,000 years old in undisturbed forests.

The Trout Lily Art Tile is a nominal 5x5 inches and about 1/2 inch thick.

Many glaze offer a variety of textures and  layers to control the different areas of the tile design. The background is glazed a transparent Smoke celadon. The leaves are dark green celadon, spotted golden brown and outlined in Jade. The flower is a sunshine yellow celadon outlived in a yellow satin matte. Iron glaze shows off on the petals, stem and stamen.

This listing includes one handcrafted ceramic art tile, featuring a hand drawn WHITE CLOVER flower. The WHITE CLOVER is the national flower of IRELAND.

My tiles are authentically handcrafted, in Michigan, from Michigan made stoneware clay, and fired to 2200 degrees. Each tile is bespoke, made-to-order, and will take 2-4 weeks to create.
