Field Tile
Lea Nigel Studios field tile is genuinely handcrafted, using traditional processes that ingrain a richness of character into each individual tile that you cannot acquire with commercial or factory made handcrafted tile.
Our field tile has a variety of uses including kitchen, bath, flooring, patios, entryways, feature walls, and other architectural elements.
Variations in color, shade, surface texture, and sometimes size are natural and desired characteristics of handcrafted field tiles and are welcomed characteristics in our tiles.
You can contact our studio today to explore shapes, textures and glazes for your design project. Please frequently check back with our evolving catalog for new additions.
Lead times vary, depending upon order size and how busy we are. Average is 2-36 weeks.
Domestic shipping for all field tile is $25 per square foot. All tile is hand packed and shipped USPS Priority unless other wise requested. Alternate carriers are more expensive. Please contact us for international orders.

My Field Tile are modular, will work together to create a Craftsman style design.

Thee are 6 tile per square foot. All of my field tile are modular, to allow you to mix and match sizes to create a custom Craftsman style design.
My tile require a 3/16 inch grout space to occupy one square foot. If you choose no ground space, or a smaller grout space, you’ll need to order more tiles. Please don’t be afraid to reach out with any questions.
My Petite and Grand Star geometric beauties would also work in tandem with these plain 5x5 inch tiles. All of my Art Tiles are also 5x5.
