Field Tile
Lea Nigel Studios field tile is genuinely handcrafted, using traditional processes that ingrain a richness of character into each individual tile that you cannot acquire with commercial or factory made handcrafted tile.
Our field tile has a variety of uses including kitchen, bath, flooring, patios, entryways, feature walls, and other architectural elements.
Variations in color, shade, surface texture, and sometimes size are natural and desired characteristics of handcrafted field tiles and are welcomed characteristics in our tiles.
You can contact our studio today to explore shapes, textures and glazes for your design project. Please frequently check back with our evolving catalog for new additions.
Lead times vary, depending upon order size and how busy we are. Average is 2-36 weeks.
Domestic shipping for all field tile is $25 per square foot. All tile is hand packed and shipped USPS Priority unless other wise requested. Alternate carriers are more expensive. Please contact us for international orders.

My nominal 2x6 Inch Field Tile has (12) tiles per square foot. Modular, works with my other Field Tile sizes.
My field tile require a 3/16 inch grout space to occupy one square foot.
For samples, each tile is $10.30. Please get in touch with the studio for help ordering samples.
Assorted, unique glaze hues are available. Please visit my “Glaze Palette” page for in stock options, or I can color match, custom order, any color you desire.I offer layout services, on front-mount tile tape, $3 per tile or an additional $48 per square foot. I figure the grout spacing for easier installation.Lead time depends upon how many square feet you order. 2-38 weeks is typical. The larger the orde the longer it will take to create.You have to contact the studio to order. I’ll create and email you an invoice. Don’t be shy!Shipping is $25 per square foot on all field tile.
