We offer our Third Eye Art Tile in two variations, Black & White and Rainbow. We offer them unframed and framed in Cedar or Oak and in a variety of finishes. Cedar can go outdoors or inside, Oak only indoors.

The 2 tile Oak Frame is $40, (1) Rainbow Third Eye Art Tile is $45, and (1) Black & White Third Eye Art Tile is $40, all together $125. Hinduism and Buddhism use the Third Eye as a symbol of enlightenment. In Eastern and Western spiritual traditions, the third eye is known as the “inner eye”; the mystical concept referring to the “ajna” chakra. The third eye is associated with clairvoyance, out-of-body experiences, visions, and precognition. People who have developed their third eye are known as “seers”.

Locally, the Mute Swan has made the news, been the subject of protest. There are two species, the Trumpeter Swan and the Mute Swan… here in Michigan. The Mute Swan is an invasive species and the D.N.R recently set out on a mission to control he invasive species on the Boardman River. The river area in Traverse City, Michigan was re-routed after the removal of a long standing dam. There was a nesting swan pair here, you could see when you drove past, over the bridge. A lot of people were upset when the re-routing project began and were concerned about this nesting pair.

A made-to-order tile will take 2-4 weeks depending on the kiln schedule and how busy the studio is.

I hand press and hand glaze each individual tile in our studio in Northern Michigan just for you. Genuine handcrafted tile designed and produced by trained artisans. The images show our Swan with a True Celadon (lighter, translucent green) and a Jade (darker, opaque, speckled green) glaze background, you can choose or request a different color to match your design.
